Amazon Buying More Domains after Kindle Air Snatch-Up

Earlier this month Amazon bought up some domains that were related to the Kindle.  Most notable was kindleair.com which ignited quite the frenzy of rumors and the general public wanting to know more!  The second was kindlesocialnetwork.com inducing more buzz to what Amazon might have up their sleeves.

At this point it appears apparent that Amazon is working on another tablet, which its E-Ink Kindle fans have been patiently waiting for.  Yes, companies like to solidify domains in order to protect their name as well as for future products, but the Kindle Air would be shockingly similar to Apple’s signature moniker.

Information has once again been leaked in another round of domain snatches by Amazon and this time they are kindlescribe.com and kindlescribes.com.  Those who love the Amazon gadget are dying to hear more about what’s in store.

All we can do at this point is speculate what Amazon has been working on behind the scenes and when we can get our first glimpse at it.  It seems apparent that they may be working on a thinner and lighter e-reader, or possibly a brand new tablet line to compete with Apple; yet we all know the recent dilemma with the HP TouchPad.  Amazon may be able to contend with Apple, but it’s just too early to tell right now.  Further putting my brain to wonder is the Kindle social network and scribe domain and what, if anything Amazon intends to do with them.
