iPhone 5

Just when news of the iPhone 4S seems to be dying down and Apple in general seems to be slumping back into a more reclusive state, there has been more news leaked from a Foxconn worker, saying that the next iPhone is already finished and ready to ship out, according to apple blog 9to5mac.

Obviously the employee did not want to be named, as that would not just result in a termination but also a lawsuit from Apple. If their story was true it would be pretty interesting to say the least, and the source says that the iPhone will be shipping out in the Summer of this year, and will be sporting a 4-inch display.

Next Refresh Will be the ‘iPhone 5′

The new iPhone which is being called the iPhone 5, will also be in the same shape that the previous iPhones came in. This means that there is no teardrop shape that a lot of people were speculating would happen when the iPhone 4S was about to be announced.

Although the likelihood of this leak being true is actually pretty high considering its on track for the normal release schedule, the information provided by it is still incredibly vague, and still leaves a lot of information out; about what it could be like. The way Apple sets it up is that they have numerous models of the phone, each of which has a different set up (prototype) so that it would throw off anyone if it came into the wrong hands (which has happened in the past!).

If the iPhone were to be released in the summer like the source says, then that means Apple is returning the iPhone to its traditional schedule for releases; the 4S has been the only iPhone so far to be released outside of the summer. We will be sure to stay tuned in order to see what other information may come out regarding the iPhone 5.
