Many businesses have refresh cycles on their technology products, making sure that they have the most up to date systems possible.  The common assumption is that a new car loses some of its value the second you drive it off the lot.  Well we could say the same about technology since it is a sector that is constantly evolving and making some tech items obsolete for most businesses in only a few years; if of course they are trying to stay ahead of the curve.

Some organizations choose to donate the used items, while others turn to recycling or storage in their warehouses for the time being.  Valaset Services, LLC in Michigan (734-261-0730) wants you to know that they are working with businesses, and offering cold hard cash for the used technology.

Valaset Accepts Many Tech Products

Not only will they pay for items like computers, network equipment, phone systems, laptops, cell phones, monitors, barcode equipment, digital cameras, toner cartridges, and more. They will also offer data removal to protect the privacy and confidentiality of what once used to be on the devices.  This has been a growing concern with many businesses, and the reason why most choose to have the used equipment destroyed and/or recycled.

Referring to the company’s official website, “Valaset Services can help your organization to dispose of your excess equipment.  If it has residual value left, we can purchase the equipment at competitive market prices.  If the equipment has no value left, we can assist you in recycling the equipment in an environmentally safe way.”

Those interested in the service can schedule an over the phone assessment or the company can visit your place of business to go over the units in question.  Freeing up storage space, and having money to re-invest back into the technology areas of the business can have serious benefits.  When you go to get a new car what do you do with the old one? You usually try to sell it outright or trade it in to the dealer; you don’t just recycle it and get nothing in return to help out with the next purchase.

Valaset does not offer its services to consumers who just want to dispose of old computers or the occasional TV.  The company limits the minimum amount of items to ten, and is interested in items that still have market value left.  They clean the technology items of their data, refurbish them and sell them to another party, although if the item is unsalvageable they will recycle it.
