At a first glance of the title, you might be sort of disappointed that your teenage fantasy of x-ray vision isn’t actually invented (sorry to let you down 13 year old version of yourself). As far back as there’s been a pubescent mind, the idea of seeing things were, well, off-limits has been a tantalizing idea for many people.
This isn’t quite the X-ray vision one had imaged would get built, but it’s definitely a great substitute for it. There’s a new mobile app available for the Android, iPhone and iPad that lets users of it see underneath the clothing of Moosejaw’s (the company behind it) winter 2011/2012 catalog.
MoosejawXRAY App Lets You See Underneath Models’ Winter Clothes
When we first heard of this, we though that it would be some lame application that would have an image of the stripped down model already on the app that you would simply place over the catalog, but it actually works a lot better than that. Check out the video after the break to get a better idea of what we mean, but they’ve actually created the application in a way that makes you feel as though there is really “X-ray vision” involved.
The application is available for download right here and is called MoosejawXRAY and includes both male and female models that are stripped down to under-layers when the app is hovered over their catalog image.

It’s a pretty simple idea, but it is still an incredibly creative and original one. In a day in age when less and less people are spending money on catalogs and an increasingly competitive clothing industry, Moosejaw has definitely set itself apart and has created some buzz in the process. Besides, there’s a reason a tech-website is covering a clothing catalog’s marketing efforts.
